Ryan Kruse (he/him)

Hello, my name is Ryan, a neurodivergent, cisgender male. I am a local to the beautiful town of Flagstaff, AZ, and am grateful to have been raised in an area that allows me to be so close to nature. I find a lot of peace in walking right into the forest. My dog, Apollo, and I walk daily in the Coconino National Forest, enjoying the calmness and beauty. I received my Bachelor's in Psychology from Northern Arizona University and am currently in the process of completing my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University. I have had many life experiences that led me to pursue this degree and a desire to help others. From my own life struggles and witnessing loved ones go through emotionally painful experiences, I have a strong passion for this field and helping individuals heal, grow, and eventually live even more rewarding lives.

I am affirming of all genders, sexual orientations, races, and cultures, as I believe the most important thing is to live a happy and fulfilled life. I believe in a client-centered approach to ensure that the client's goals are the main focus of the sessions. While studying psychology, I have had a lot of exposure to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and believe it is a powerful tool for cultivating positive change in negative thinking patterns. I incorporate mindfulness meditation into my own life and strongly believe mindfulness is a powerful tool for any individual.

I am excited at the prospect of working with you! If you think we would be a good fit, feel free to reach out.
