Fen Salix (they/them)
Hello there, I’m Fen. I’m a white, queer, trans/non-binary, polyam, and neurodiverse psychologist with a passion for supporting individuals and communities on their journey toward healing, empowerment, and well-being. I am committed to social justice, and provide inclusive, affirming care that respects each person’s unique values, identity, and experiences.
I am passionate about working with LGBTQIA2S+, neurodiverse, kinky, and polyamorous individuals. I am also open to working with a broad range of folks, understanding the complexities that come with complex trauma, co-occurring medical and mental health conditions, and living within oppressive systems.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and playful, working with clients to find what works best for them. I am eclectic in that I pull from an array of therapy modalities to best fit individuals that I work with. However, I find myself pulling most from DBT, ACT, Narrative, and Humanistic modalities. I also integrate play, art, and expressive therapies into the work I do, creating a space that encourages healing and growth through, creative expression and feeling.
In my free time, I enjoy time with my partners and our pets, playing video games, reading, puzzles, hiking or just getting some time in nature, and spending time with my community.
