Aligning with Authentic Values

Are you seeking a therapeutic journey that celebrates the many facets of your identity and empowers you to navigate life's complexities with resilience? Is it important for you to understand what you are running towards in life, not just away from? I specialize in providing gender-affirming, sexuality-affirming, and neurodivergent-affirming care for teens and adults.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in warmth, authenticity, and creating a nurturing space where the multitudes you contain are not just accepted, but cherished. I invite you to step into a space where you can authentically express yourself and explore your inner world with curiosity and creativity.

NeuroQueer Rebels Navigating Societal Expectations

In a world that often adheres to societal norms and expectations, I'm here to support you in challenging those norms and embracing your uniqueness. Together, we'll navigate the intricate ways your different identities intertwine and blend together, and which ones are most salient to how you experience the world. My philosophy is rooted in empowerment—I trust that you possess the wisdom to understand yourself best. I believe in your capacity to lead your personal growth, and I'm here as a supportive guide on your path.

Recovering Gifted Kids Coping with Internalized Pressures

Growing up as a gifted kid and a high-achieving student, the weight of perfectionism and the drive to fulfill others' expectations might have been overwhelming. Let's delve into these inner dynamics together and how they are impacting your life today. Together, we'll identify the protective parts that propelled you forward and the wounded parts that yearn for validation. I'm here to guide you as we extend compassion and bring clarity to patterns of perfectionism and people-pleasing.

Tailored Modalities for Your Unique Journey

I tailor therapy to your distinct needs, drawing from a range of effective modalities. These include techniques from Person-Centered Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and a creative-informed psychotherapy framework. I believe in the power of creative expression and play at all ages as transformative tools for self-discovery. Whether it's mindful art-making or engaging activities, I'm here to create an environment where playfulness and courage flourish.

Background and Credentials

I graduated with my Master’s in Social Work from Arizona State University, with a focus in direct practice with children, youth, and families. My Bachelor's in Fine Arts grounds my therapeutic approach in adaptability, mindfulness, and self-expression, aligning with a collaborative care philosophy.

Relevant Lived Experience

I'm proudly neurodivergent, and my own journey in gender and sexuality is one of constant exploration and evolution. I choose to broadly identify under the queer umbrella because it allows me to embrace fluidity and change. Beyond my therapeutic role, I'm an avid outdoor explorer with my rescue pittie, a dedicated reader, a board game enthusiast, and a passionate crafter.

What’s next?

This overview offers a glimpse into who I am, but the most meaningful connection is forged through conversation. I invite you to schedule a 15-minute virtual consultation, where we can explore how our paths might intersect.

Let's uncover the beautiful tapestry of your identity and find ways to align with your true self, bringing you genuine joy. It's a genuine honor to witness and share in your narrative, providing a safe space for your story to unfold.
