Kalilah Leadbetter, LMSW she/her
Hello, I am a African American cisgender therapist. I am a genuine person that believes in a holistic approach that intertwines your mind, body and spirit on your path to healing. I am passionate, and take pride in being a co-creator assisting individuals in becoming the best version of themselves by getting to the root of the issue. It can be challenging to seek support at times, my goal is to create a non-judgmental and empathic space. In minority communities and the LGBTQIA community my goal is to teaching realistic skills to love and protect themselves mentally, emotionally, develop self-regulation, and accomplishing goals.
Although I have experience in supporting minority and LGBTQIA communities, I am well diverse in working with individuals from all walks of life. I specialize in supporting individuals who are living with Trauma, PTSD, Anxiety and Depression. I do not believe in the “one side fits all" I have knowledge in many techniques to assist clients with their process.
Life experiences can affect your well-being. Going through those life experiences and or deep rooted emotional barriers alone can be scary. Finding a therapist that will be a good fit, where you can share your story without fear, embarrassment, shame or guilt can make a difference. I offer phone consultations, to answer any questions that you may have.
